Unbeknownst to some travelers is that the shire is also a bustling marketplace filled with scores of merchants, artisans, games, rides, and dozens of kitchens staffed with epicureanly qualified royal chefs all cooking up and creating tastes and delights that will tantalize your every taste bud!

From extravagantly adorned head wreaths to glass works to brooms of every shape and size, jewelry fit for a King or Queen, swords, kilts and cloaks and 16th century apparel, home furnishings, leather works, herbs, candles, and so much more! There's something for everyone.

Adorning the Shire are several man-powered rides such as the giant, looming, flying hippogriff and the whirling, spinning Crow's nest, all man-powered! For those of a competitive nature, a whole gaming glen called Mither's Games awaits filled with different games of chance like bow and arrow, axes and a whole lot more, something for all ages!
