Special Events at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

The Faire never stops bringing you fantastic events throughout the season! Whatever your taste, be it swarthy and frolicking at the Pirate Smoker to being treated like royalty at our NEW Royal Feast or sharing a cup of wondrous tea with the Queen Herself at The Queen's Tea, we provide the best and most unique entertainments!

These our "Special Events" are above and beyond your day at the Faire with added Fare at each event. For those of our Royal and Loyal Patrons who want to add an something special to their day, these events are available for a nominal fee.

The Royal Feast
Mistress Quickly, Royal Mistress of the Revels has gathered together special entertainments and a feast fit for a King, Queen, Prince or Princess, or mayhap an entire Royal Family! Get you to the Royal Feasting Pavilion and enjoy this daily event that will leave speechless. A culinary delight mixed with surprising enchanting entertainments...and a visit by the Queen Herself!

The Queen's Tea
It's High Tea Time and you are invited to partake in this English tradition with the Queen and Her Court. Learn the ways of tea drinking and chivalry and manners and who knows what other surprises during this wonderfully prepared epicurean delight!

The Pirate Smoker

Sir Walter Raleigh has been anxiously awaiting the return of his long-time friend, Captain Jack. The Captain's latest "Privateering" mission should bear some bountiful booty, including a chest of the finest tobacco from the New World...plus a few other items that Raleigh might confiscate as "taxes". The "taxes" he'll keep for himself, but the tobacco is to be shared...as is the beer and the wine. Pirate or no, Captain Jack is a dear friend of our own Sir Walter Raleigh, and Raleigh has decided that we should celebrate his return...let the stories be told, the drink be poured, the tobacco be smoked, and the wenches be wooed!

This festive event is adult-only entertainment requiring its celebrants to be 21 years of age or older.

Price of this grandlisome event includes complimentary cigars, Mount Hope Wines, Swashbuckler Ales, and a sampling of victuals from the Shire.

Friday Knights at the Improv

Mount Hope Estate throws wide its doors on Fridays for 5 consecutive nights with some wild and crazy improv comedy. A rotating cast of Faire performers create the unexpected right before your eyes.
