If you enjoy the outdoors, meeting new people and want to help the environment, then join the Green Brigade, a motivated team of volunteers filling numerous positions during the Great Green America Fest on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.

Volunteer Positions

All positions require volunteers that are energetic, friendly, polite, levelheaded, and even-tempered with good verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and stand for long periods of time.

Bike Tour/Security Volunteers (May 4th only) - 7 Volunteers Needed

A Metric Century Bike Tour will take place on Sunday, May 4th. Volunteers are needed to assist at the registration table from 7:00AM to 10:00AM by registering cyclists and checking-in pre-registered cyclists, accepting registration fees and waivers, and handing out participant wristbands, maps, directions, cyclist shirt, etc. Once registration closes at 10:00AM, volunteers will help with the bike check for cyclists who have returned from the tour. When cyclists return and check in, security volunteers are needed to ensure the safekeeping of the cyclists bicycles. Bike Tour volunteers must report at 6:45 AM.

Gate Greeters - 8 Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed at the Green Fest Front Gate and E-ticket Gate entrances to make sure all entering festivalgoers have tickets and that adults show an adult ticket. When festivalgoers exit the grounds, volunteers are to stamp their hand; those with hand stamps may be readmitted at any time.

Mansion Photo ID Station Attendants - 2 Volunteers Needed

Waste Management is pleased to provide Honorary Junior Driver ID Cards. These cards feature a photo of our patron's children and make a great souvenir of their day at the Green Fest. The volunteers will take and print photos for the id cards. Volunteers will be taught how to use photo equipment. The station is available between 12 and 7PM both Saturday and Sunday.

Restroom Attendants - 8 Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to empty trash receptacles; keep toilets clean, unclogged and usable; refill hand soap, hand towels and toilet paper; and keep the overall area clean. Good cleaning skills and an attention to detail are required.

Recycling Sorters - 5 Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to sort items from recycling containers throughout the fair grounds.
