Passport Stop
Hi Kids! My name is Betta B. Green and I’m here to tell you why green is better! Be like me and hop around the festival with your passport in search of a greener world! My passport program will allow you to visit several stops within the fairgrounds that will teach you how to make our environment a healthier place to live in. Complete your passport’s destination to a greener world by journeying to twelve stops at the festival and earning a stamp for each visit! Your efforts will help to make my environment a safer place to live in and allow you to win a cool prize at the end of your journey!

HELP SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT!

Put Trash in its Place By Participating in Waste Management’s
Sort Sport Waste Disposal Challenge here at GGAF!

Waste ManagementWho would think that getting rid of your trash during the Fest could be entertaining and educational? Waste Management does! At the six staffed Sort Sport stations throughout the Fest (located near food stand areas and marked on the map), all festival attendees are asked to choose how the food and beverage waste they generate at the festival will be managed—and then to dispose of the waste accordingly in the appropriate bins provided by Waste Management.

Should waste items be recycled, composited or shipped to a landfill for disposal? Don’t worry if you don’t know—Waste Management’s employees will help you become a Sort Sport champion, with our environment being the ultimate winner!
Your active participation in Sort Sport throughout the weekend is key to helping the Great Green America Fest in its goal to “Think Green” and reduce the amount of actual trash generated by the event. Only YOU can help make this project a success!
