| Aoife (pronounced “Eefa”) Clancy brings a refreshing voice to folk music, one that ranges from traditional Irish songs to ballads to the best work of contemporary songwriters. Her father, Bobby Clancy, of the renowned Clancy Brothers, put a guitar in her hands at the age of ten, and by fourteen she was out playing and singing with him. Aoife musical chops were further honed while recording and touring the globe for four years as the lead singer for Cherish the Ladies, which is one of the most sought-after groups in Irish-American History. Today Aoife tours as a solo act and with her cousins Donal Clancy and Robbie O’Connell in the Clancy Family Legacy.
