ADMISSION TICKETS Prices vary for Admission Tickets to the different events at Mount Hope Estate & Winery. . Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the front gate castle windows or discount tickets can be purchased and printed at home by using the Virtual Box Office. Will Call is not available for Admission Tickets. HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY Handicapped accessible parking is available. Upon your arrival, please make a request of the parking crew and they will direct you to it. Most of the walking paths of the Faire grounds are paved to ease travel in wheelchairs or scooters. However, the Faire site is 35+ acres and some stone or grass covered areas may need to be traveled to access some artisans or food booths. Handicapped accessible restrooms are available on the Faire grounds. Wheelchairs are not available to rent or loan. We have installed a new 10 foot by 20 foot long platform designed to accommodate manual and electric wheelchairs in the Globe Stage audience area. This designated area will provide the best view of Globe while providing ample seating. FIRST AID The First Aid Station is located at the south end of the Faire grounds along Privy Lane, directly behind the “Bread and Broth” kitchen. A registered EMT is on duty at all times. LOST CHILDREN Lost children can be found at the First Aid building. You may also notify any Security personnel or Staff member with a two-way radio. There is a Security Officer posted at the Front Gate at all times. PETS Pets are not permitted on the Faire grounds. Local kennels: Sun Hill Kennels Directions: Take 72 towards Manheim. At the square in Manheim make a right onto Mt Joy road (772) travel 3 ½ miles to Erisman road where you take a left. They are located less than a mile on Erisman road. Gochenauer Kennels From Mt Hope, go south on route 72 towards Manheim. Go through Manheim past the square. Stay on 72; it will be N Main Street and then S Main Street. Turn onto New Charlotte Street before you get to the Twin Kiss in Manheim. New Charlotte Street becomes Fruitville Pike/ PA 772. Stay on Fruitville Pike, and they are on the right hand side of the road. TAKING PHOTOS AND VIDEO Taking photographs and video on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate & Winery and all our events is permitted provided the photographer understands that the photos and video are for personal use only. LOST & FOUND Lost items can be found with the Informistress located just inside the Front Gate. GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES The Faire grounds are handicapped accessible. Most of the walkways are paved, however, some are stoned and require, at times, assistance. Some of the hills are steep, although all of the steep hills are fully paved. Wheelchairs are not available for rental. WEATHER The Faire and all our events are open rain or shine. Due to the safety factor for some of the performers, some shows may be altered due to inclement weather. Check out the current weather forecast for our region, the Susquehanna Valley. LEAVING AND RE-ENTERING OUR OUTDOOR EVENTS If you wish to leave the Faire or any of our outdoor events and plan to return on the same day, you must get your hand stamped upon exiting. To reenter, you must show your hand stamp – no exceptions. For those guests wishing to come back another day, some of our outdoor events have "Return Passes" available for sale at the Informistress/Royal Remembrances booth. This "Return Pass” allows you to reenter any day – and at a discounted price! PICNIC LUNCHES Neither food nor drink (other than water) may be brought on the Faire grounds. Picnic tables are available outside the Faire grounds near the Front Gate. ATM ATM machines ares available in the Mansion Carriage House Wine Shoppe, near the Front Gate and on the Faire grounds near the Royal-T Shoppe and the Swashbuckler Brew Pub merchandise area. LENGTH OF STAY Our Outdoor Event hours vary. Visit the website for specific times. If you are visiting the Renaissance Faire and were to stay the entire time, you would still see less than 1/2 of what the Faire offers. Plan to arrive early and stay late. SOUVENIR PROGRAMS The program contains a map of the grounds as well as great articles about the days' activities. To receive a program in the mail, send $3.00 for postage and handling to: PRF Program, 2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA 17545. SHOWS All entertainment for our events are subject to change without notice. The only time rain checks are issued is upon cancellation of the Ultimate Joust during the Renaissance Faire. COSTUME DISCOUNTS We offer a $2.00 discount to adult patrons that visit the Renaissance Faire in period costumes. WEAPONS AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE Weapons are discouraged even as part of costume. You may be asked to check/hold any weapon at the gate. Costume pieces must be “peace tied” so as not to become a hazard to our guests or the patron. The guards at the front gate will assist with the peace tying process if necessary. FOOD & DRINK Food & Drink is not included in the admission price. There are many choices for both Food & Drink on the Faire grounds for all our outdoor events. RIDES AND GAMES Rides or games are not included in the admission price. Prices for these activities range from $1.00 to $3.00. DRESS Our Outdoor events start in May while the the Renaissance Faire runs from August through October. Dress comfortably and appropriately. Proper tasteful attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Remember, we are a family-friendly facility. VISA AND MASTER CARD Visa and Master Card as well as travelers checks and cash are accepted for purchase of admission and in most shops. Food merchants do not generally accept Visa and Master Card for food purchases. EMPLOYMENT AT THE FAIRE Click below on the "Employment" tab for information on our seasonal and part-time employment opportunities. It is a great way to earn money by enjoying and becoming a part of the excitement of a Faire day. BABY CHANGING/NURSING Baby changing stations are located in the privies (restrooms) located throughout the Faire grounds. The First Aid Station is also available for those needing privacy. STROLLERS Strollers are encouraged for those families with small children. Stroller rentals are not available. GUEST RELATIONS Located at the Informistress booth near the Front Gate. Guest Relations is the location where you will find “lost and found” items, information on future events and “Return to the Past” passes. Comment cards and the registry for our Royal E-mail list are also located at the Informistress. SMOKING For the comfort of all guests, please refrain from smoking near stages and audience areas. CELL PHONES So as to respect all patrons, we ask that cell phone ringing tones be muted or switched to the vibrate mode. We also ask that cell phone usage be limited to non-stage and audience areas. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS We work hard to offer a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. Please help us by showing common courtesy to fellow patrons.
