The event of a full moon has always been the topic of folklore, myth and legend. Scientifically, a full moon is the sun’s rays reflecting off the face of the moon. The arrival of the full moon brings a reason for a monthly celebration and to shine light on unique talents as ever changing as the night sky.
A Unique Event at Mount Hope: Instead of howling at the full moon, grab your friends, share a chuckle and be reminded why laughter is the best medicine! Always ready for a party, the restored Victorian-era barn of the Barn & Barrel at Mount Hope is the perfect location to showcase intimate, limited seating theatrical events. The first floor’s stonework bar offers the wine, beer, cider and spirits produced at the Estate. The second-floor event space overlooking Mount Hope’s award-winning full production winery provides a theater space to enjoy new events brought to the barn in celebration of the monthly Full Moon Fest at the Barn & Barrel.

Although Jennifer Espenshade has been doing standup comedy for only a few years, she has been entertaining crowds for the past 29 years as a performer at the PA Renaissance Faire, doing comedy in a giant pit of mud! Her transition from improv and mud pit diving to standup seemed like a natural progression, plus standup is much more forgiving on her aging body!
She approaches her audiences in an energetic and, at times, risqué manner. Her ability to interact with a crowd, due to her improv background, ensures that each show is different and unique.
Eddie is a father of four and husband of one. Being a family man helps him come up with material. Also, ridiculous things pop into his head throughout the day and if he's close enough to his phone, he'll jot it down and eventually share it in his act. He guarantees that you'll laugh at least once during his performance.
