Adam Blessing - FlavorFest 2012
Adam Blessing

Adam Blessing was born and raised outside Lebanon, Pennsylvania behind a town called Cleona. Around the age of 7 he began playing guitar, and never stopped. “Blessing... is a fixture in Central PA’s acoustic scene, peddling lilting, almost jazzy folk songs with Jack Johnson’s beach-bum mellowness and Ben Harper’s working-man’s soul in any and every venue that’ll have him. Inspired by everyone from Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to Paul Simon and Sting, Blessing has learned how to infuse his songs with a swing and shuffle, but in a way that won’t cause too many ripples in the pool. Easy-breezy is the name of the game. The FLY Magazine”….

Beggar Folk

Their music is mellow and intimate...finger-picking, warm harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, and a fierce love for both man and creator have all lead to The Beggar Folk's ability to stir their listeners. Their distinct blend of modern folk+old country lends a natural avenue to their strong storytelling and minimalist roots.

Darry Miller and the Viel
Indian Summer Jars

Indian Summer Jars is energetic and authentic. “Stirring and earnest without ever straying into the melodramatic,” says Jeff Royer, chief editor of Fly Magazine. Their original music is folksinger/songwriter driven lyrically, but has its roots in blues, bluegrass, and pop rock. A duo formed in 2006, the two Sarah’s “… set off a fireworks display of harmonies over-top of rootsy, often Celtic, undertones.”

His soulful voice and catchy musical phrasing is unique and memorable. Josh will give you his heart each and every performance as his love for music seems to pour out of him.

Mike McMonagle

Mike McMonagle was born, raised and currently resides in Lancaster, PA. At the tender age of Kindergarten, Mike began his musical conquests on the family's usually-out-of-tune baby grand piano. Since, Mike has dabbled with the guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, bass, keyboard, washboard, keytar, kazoo, and a wide range of percussive kitchen utensils.

Listening to Mike perform is comparable to being really tired of standing, only to sit on a freshly built wooden bench that hasn't been sanded down yet. Whatever that means.

Slimfit

The members of Slimfit find themselves on The Path (their latest album) sounding exactly like what Slimfit is: a group of long-time friends with a shared affinity for fringe country, punk rock spirit, piss beer, camping trips and Bell Biv DeVoe T-shirts. It’s just what happens when five best friends pool their common influences, grease it up with some PBR and make music for the purest reasons of all: Its fun and they couldn’t stop if they tried.
