The Great PA FlavorFest invites favorite local performers to provide the perfect musical backdrop on various stages throughout the festival!

Adam Blessing

Adam Blessing

Performing at Swashbuckler Stage
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00AM • 2:00PM

Adam Blessing was born and raised outside Lebanon, Pennsylvania behind a town called Cleona. Around the age of 7 he began playing guitar, and never stopped. “Blessing…is a fixture in Central PA’s acoustic scene, peddling lilting, almost jazzy folk songs with Jack Johnson’s beach-bum mellowness and Ben Harper’s working-man’s soul in any and every venue that’ll have him. Inspired by everyone from Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to Paul Simon and Sting, Blessing has learned how to infuse his songs with a swing and shuffle, but in a way that won’t cause too many ripples in the pool. Easy-breezy is the name of the game. The FLY Magazine”.

The first chord Mike McMonagle ever strummed was an E minor – a chord he still plays, along with others, to craft an array of folk-ish ditties about riding trains, drinking wine and two of the United States' four Commonwealths. Meaning exists below the surface as Mike sings to inspire hope, reconcile loss and make good on his existence in this world.
