Tap Take Over • January 19 & 20, 11AM-5PM
Swashbuckler Brewing Company has joined the efforts of more than 1400 breweries across the country who rallied behind Sierra Nevada’s call for help. In response to that call, January 19 & 20, 11:00AM – 5:00 PM, Resilience IPA will be the featured tap at the Faithful Fowl located next to Swashbuckler Brewing Company on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate & Winery.
Resilience IPA is a collaborative fundraising effort for those impacted by Northern California’s Camp Fire. The Camp Fire, which started in the hills above Sierra Nevada’s Chico brewery last month, was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history, killing at least 86 people and displacing more than 14,000 families, including many Sierra Nevada employees. In the days following the fire, Sierra Nevada announced plans to brew Resilience IPA and donate 100% of the sales to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund. The company invited every brewery in the country to brew the beer and donate 100% of the sales to the fund, as well. If the beer sells out nationwide, the project could raise more than $15 million for direct Camp Fire relief.
Many local area breweries have already depleted their inventory of Resilience and the sought-after IPA is becoming increasing difficult to find. Swashbuckler Brewing Company is excited to provide an opportunity for visitors to support the efforts of the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund and, while supplies last, Resilience IPA will be sold at the Faithful Fowl by 20 oz glass - $7, growler fills - $20 and new SBC filled growlers - $26. Assorted bar foods will be also be available.
The bar at the Faithful Fowl bar is the new taproom serving guests who attend both public and private events at the Barn & Barrel. The beautifully restored Victorian-era barn overlooks Mount Hope’s award-winning production facility and provides the perfect showcase for meetings, celebrations and other Estate events.
Answer the invitation January 19 & 20 to band together, enjoy a Resilience IPA and become a part of the reason those affected by The Camp Fire can recover. For more information on this project, please visit SierraNevada.com
