The Mount Hope Trained Band
The Mount Hope Trained Band is a living history group that portrays what life was like for a 16th century soldier. Through the use of scripted and improvisational military demonstrations, the Trained Band immerses audiences in the day-to-day training of an Elizabethan Citizen Soldier. In between drills, witness these soldiers take their rest in their tented encampment, cooking over an open fire, dicing, playing cards, playing music and singing, and generally keeping morale high until the next drill or call to action to defend their town.
